I'm a Robbo supporter but I really dislike how cute he gets with some of his signings and bringing in a rugby union coach to be an NRL forwards coach is just another one of those "I'm smarter than everyone else" signings that none of the top coaches would ever make.

Can we not give that gig to Jared, Boyd, anyone who is making a name for themselves in the lower grades or at other clubs? I loathe the Dogs but Gus goes out and raids Penrith who are the best of the best and we go and look to unsigned Union coaches

I believe in 2022 or 2023 we ditched Ryles and had Cordner and Friend as temporary defence coaches and we became much better defensively

Do you know who our first grade coaches are for 2026? I can't seem to find anything about them on the chooks website. Brett Morris was supposed to have big wraps on him in the lower grades too. I fear that we haven't adequately replaced Fitzy apart from Justin Holbrook who was a quality addition.

Is Cords still coaching with the club anywhere? Jeez, we haven't replaced him as a player and leader all of these years later and neither have NSW.

My mate the coach is fast becoming irrelevant.

complete your sets and control your disapline and you will allways be hard to beat
unfortunately we never do

There is no process in place when things are going bad! We double down, throw caution to the wind and hope that our ability to score points quickly gets us out of trouble.

Still our weak point and something it feels like we will need to address at some point this year if we want to compete. Similar pattern to last year.

It's hard to remember just how good Crichton was in 2024.

Certainly is Critchon will be the biggest myth so much potential and played his best at the bunnies, just didn’t have the head to take his game elite consistently
I worry as Nat offers nothing and we have no size and impact like storm and other edges with big and mobile 110kg frames

First game of the year, new combos etc. Obviously a disappointing result but we had no ball and no field position and with 20 mins to go had more line breaks than our opponents. Discipline is obviously an issue, but if our guys farted tonight they would have been penalised for shitting their pants and the bunker would have sided with the ref despite their being no skiddies in our undies.

I have no idea. I think Matt King is still in the box, but aside from that I’m in the same boat.

I have heard regarding Cheika that all he does is ask the forwards what he can help them with instead of being a bit more active in telling them what to do. Not a good sign

It’s hard to watch when the ref is off your side, your hardly have the ball and finally get the chance and throw 50 50 Hail Marys
the Ioelu and Marky no look flicks in the first half hurt us
will win as the odd game but not take as that far
we have just lost the ability to be patience and will the grind

From my perspective a lot of the errors come from very simple ABC things & not from throwing caution to the wind & playing an expansive game.

Why is the discipline so bad every year? That is something Robbo can definitely come down on.

It statistically cant be a fluke we rate the worst in errors/discipline year after year.

The finger can only point at the coach.
