I don’t have a great deal of confidence in Junior Pauga.

            thirteen's taking no prisoners

i wonder if foketi's an option for a spot in the centres. got some speed and quite nimble for a big bloke. of the options available he's the one who's a genuine first grader

              Same old shit

Some stuff on insta it looked like Ramsey was in left centre but obviously that could be wrong.

I really hope you are joking - in the trial we were paper thin in defence in the backs

A backline of Tedesco, Tupou, Ramsay, Pauga and Nawaqanitawase is troubling but probably a good test for centre depth to kick off the year. It'll add a lot of confidence if we can win without Smith and Toia.

Is there news on the severity of the Toia or is it just precaution?

If the injury occurred in the Pacific Nations that was months ago and so is a real worry.

We're supposed to be past the test phase...it's round one of the real comp.
But now we're basically back to another trial team/game.
In the trial games our left side defence was terrible, and our right side defence was just as bad.
Not the time to be trialling Ramsay.
Hugo and Foketi must be selected in the centres. Or Wong and Foketi.
Players with some size, muscle who can tackle.
Pauga showed in the trials that he's too small to play in the centre.
No good scoring 3 tries and letting in 5 tries...we lose.

Apparently not - but foot injuries are tricky.

Regardless, Toia's out and to be totally honest I think the Warriors (even if Toia played) will win this week.

They (the Warriors) are my longshot for the premiership this year.

I hope the Roosters win but I don't bet with my heart.

"Do you expect me to talk"? "No, Mr. Bond, I expect you to die".

I wonder if Bobby travelled over?
If so; you’d think he must be close and probably didn’t want to take the chance in the first game of a long season.

I think that’s the key word - tricky. It took me nearly 18 months to recover from plantar fasciitis and I’m not a fit high performance sports athlete. It must be one of those lisfranc injuries or some damage to the plantar fascia. Not good if so.
