I think on paper we have the best spine in the comp, if Melbourne still had Papenhuyzen I'd say them but he's gone so we take that number 1 spot I think. Tedesco was voted the best player in the world last year, DCE was top 5 for most half stats in 2025, Walker is incredible when he's on and can dish more try assists than anyone and Robson is obviously one of the best hookers in the comp as well.

Can you rate Hugo and DCE out of 10.

I'm just curious to see how much better DCE is in your books. No need for stats as we've seen them all before!

The Storm spine was in full swing last night. No rust and pretty much a masterclass from their big 3.

Still no alpha forward which makes them beatable when it counts most. Reckon NAS would've made a difference in last years GF.

Stefano was more intimidating when he played for the Tigers imo.

How unfit in comparison did we look against the Warriors. They had that nice fit healthy glow.

Storm, Panthers, Sharks, Dolphins all have better spines than us and a fully fit and injury free Newcastle spine is better than ours.

Jury is out on the Raiders we'll get an idea of how their spine goes later tonight, if Strange and Sanders come out firing I'm prepared to say theirs has ours covered.

Broncos spine is too reliant on incredible Walsh brilliance and Reynolds has a negative impact on their creativity these days.

The Melbourne Storm are the best oiled machine that I have seen in 59 years of watching the game & they've been doing it for 24 years straight.
I know winning comps is the ultimate but supporting a team that is the best team over the course of the year for 24 years straight is next best thing.
