How fired up was he coming down the tunnel.

He was on fire in 1992 until he headbutted Brett Boyd.

Not a bad goal kicker too.

I walk past the Bali mural all the time down on the beach and will always stop as I see his wife's name. He'd been in the middle of painting the house of a lady I worked with based in Coogee at the time and she'd said what a lovely man he was and how she just couldn't begrudge him not coming back to finish the job as she had 2 little daughters too like Craig. I really must dig up some old videos of that era of matches and watch them again.

Also spoke with Savala and a few others, he is a complete champion love this guy, he is a true fan of the club & told us he has signed for a few more seasons & never wants to leave. I personally think he will be our next club captain.
I'm glad you had a good time and I used to go years ago and catch up with Jman and his lovely wife. I always took one of my friends as Jake was boarding with her at the time, plus she had gone to school with Russell Fairfax so meeting him was a great privilege.

Thanks for letting us know about Hugo as he's my current favourite. I was hoping he'll be sticking around..that news just made my week so thanks again..

            Adrian and Boyd .

Could you imagine the crowd's response for Adrian in particular? That would be a fabulous night out.

Salvo is up there with my all time favourite Chooks. When he made Origin it was the first time I'd ever seen a Rooster play at that level. And he had a blinder.

They were bleak, bleak years. A time for the true believers.

All of them are favorites of mine. A special mention for Les Hayes who I enjoyed watching through all grades. He usually was a reserve for first grade after playing a full second grade game and was one of the toughest players we had, a boxer who fought at the stadium and also on the footy field. I can remember him getting the better of much bigger forwards.
