Add to that the fact that Robbo will never fix our error rate and we can forget this year. Apart from Hugo many of our lower grade players are just not up to the standard needed to win the comp.
Jesus Christ here we go again with the wrist slitting sooks.
Correct we didn’t get where we wanted but DCE is a huge in, Robson will be after injury & we got a load of games into younger players last year. Benny can strep straight in,Whyte is a season better, Toia another preseason, Smith hopefully over injuries, Walker will step back up & be ready, plus But her back. We aren’t in the same spot injury wise & it’s better now than late in the season. Who gives a about the Tigpies game, I’ll bank my house that we finish top 4 & they’re nowhere near the 8, so let them have preseason, trial game glory. Also sick of the constant Hugo talk, he’s not ready which is why DCE was bought in. I’d be more worried if we’re pinning our future on him being a starter in the Halves.

We would be, but we won’t have a say. These days it doesn’t matter what contract you have, the players pretty much always get what they want.

Bad luck for Robbo2, hopefully its a quickish recovery. I wasn't a fan of his signing (or Garrick, or Talau or DCE or anyone recently save Mark N actually) but wish him well.

I feel partially responsible for his sig though. I got in touch with Nick and said mate please sign Reece ...at any cost. I meant Reece Walsh! He did a Mick Molloy and got the wrong bloke. Ah well.
The Garrick one will be good as we severely lack depth in the outside backs. Marky M will be gone, most likely Toops too. That leaves injury prone Smith, Toia & then reserve graders, with Garrick being a cut above them, plus offering kicking skills.

          So dramatic.
Firstly if DCE gets injured then Hugo comes in
Secondly It was the Roosters 2nd grade team v the Tigers 2nd grade team so you can’t take too much out of it.

At the end of the day roosterchook our Roosters are a good side & if we have luck with injuries & form we're chance but luck will play the biggest part.

Then what's the point of having an academy?
Seems a big waste of money, time and effort developing players only to have them moved on to play for other teams.
