I hear Cody Ramsey will play in next weeks trial match.
    What's your point, Gaz?

I’m looking forward to seeing the team play again even if it’s mainly the NSW cup team.

        Every NRL supporter
Win a trial and they say this is our year.
Get defeated and it’s oh well it was a meaningless trial.

Don’t really take much notice of them, no one remembers or cares about trial matches in October.
How many teams have done well in trials and failed to make the finals.

With our 1 to 7 pick that pick themselves. The forward and bench makeup leave 5 spots available.

          9 Robinson
          10 Collins
          11 Gus
          12 -------? (Radley’s spot)

          16
          17. Watson

Does anyone know about Rob Toia's brother Aholoka. Is he injured? or Max Macathie?
Would of expected them to play today

Or Rads at lock when he returns, Wong right edge, Watson and N Butch on the bench.

Watson utility value is now compromised with the 6 man bench so you'd be tempted to start him. I would!

Ramsey has been doing many reps at fullback and in the backs with the main squad and been impressive according to Teddy
And I have a feeling Steep is right in the mix

I'm not so sure, I don't think Watson's value is compromised
Under normal circumstances I would have him in the best 17 although off the bench

I thought Daine Laurie was outstanding in the halves. Great pick up by the Raiders!
This has to be your best ever.

Steep and Foketi are outstanding young talents however they'll need to bide ones time.

Both are pups. Steep is 20, Foketi 21

Our timing is all out in any case as by the time the young guns are ripe the senior players are either past it or retired. Eventually (Like 7 odd years) we'll be serious contenders and a force for some time. There will be a constant supply of young talented players coming through the pathways systems so the timing shouldn't be an issue.

You're cheating as you didn't highlight my other reason why Brother Lane

100% it's compromised as he's a specialist utility who can cover multiple position.

The dynamics of the Bench Utility have changes with the 6 man bench. A teams 18th and 19th man will most likely be specialist in the areas that Watson would generally cover.

A 6 man bench no longer requires a utility!

I'm sorry Batey but I can't agree with you. Halfback is a serious problem for Canberra. Yes Daine Laurie did well yesterday but he is serviceable at best and will not lead the Raiders to the promised land IMHO.
