Agreed. I admittedly didn't get to watch a lot the game but the side looked good for 20 mins but it seemed like we had a lot of young players on for a long period and they got a bit touched up in the second half. I would imagine that not many of the players on for the second half will be near first grade in the near future.

It will never happen IMO.
I think Nat if fit will be 13 until Rads is back & then either stay there with Rads on the edge or Rads to 13 with a Gus, Nat backrow.
I don’t know what will happen with Wong.
All good if you're happy making the 8 and then getting pumped in the finals.
Radley is yesterdays hero.
N Butch is a good honest toiler but you need more especially when Wong is now in toiler mode.
You want players that have a strong desire to make something happen!Last edited by Bates; 02-15-2026, 08:42 PM.
Wong is probably in front of Nat as a toiler and can make metres from time to time. Agree with you on Radley; nowhere as effective as he used to be.Originally posted by Mickie Lane View Post

I wonder how Hugo would go at lock with another 10kg+ on his frame?

I've heard that he's training in a range of positions including lock.
There's an element of calmness about Hugo that I love!
He's not a naturally gifted half yet still looks extremely comfortable. He can play systematic which I also like. Polar opposite to Walker which gives them an element of balance. If only Sammy could also game manage!
Bare minimum - Savala on the bench. Watson at lock . Hugo covers the halves and can give Watto a spell. Wong or N butch on the right edge.Last edited by Bates; 02-15-2026, 08:38 PM.
