  • Sydney Roosters Digital Memberships

    Hey all,

Just wondering if anyone else has run into issues with the new NRL Digital Membership the club is offering ?

I’ve cancelled my regular Kayo sub because I’m looking to jump onto the Roosters’ digital membership deal, the one that includes the 12‑month Kayo subscription plus the extra perks. Works out way cheaper than paying Kayo directly, so I’m pretty keen to grab the premium option.

Only problem is … when I follow the prompts from the Roosters site, it sends me through to Ticketmaster. I can log in fine, but when I try to check out and actually buy the membership, it throws some kind of processing error and won’t let me complete the purchase.

Has anyone else had the same issue ?

Or does anyone know if there’s something going on behind the scenes with Ticketmaster or the club’s setup ?

Keen to get it sorted so I’m ready to go before Round 1.

    Here’s the link I’m using: https://www.roosters.com.au/news/202...M4MDMxNTI5NgS2

    Cheers !

Are you using firefox by any chance? I had the same issue when buying the Cowboys one (did it before the Roosters announced theirs don't shoot me) and I was stuck in a loop of adding memberships to the cart instead of processing so I ended up switching the browser to chrome and it worked fine.

I'm using Chrome at the moment. I've also tried the Chrome app from my phone as well (Android - Samsung Galaxy S24+).

I've also tried Microsoft Edge as well.

Same issue as per the below:

        Please Try Again Later
There was an unexpected error while processing your request. To continue, please try again.

Update: Disregard. I went through the process in "Incognito Mode" and it worked.

I had issues also so stayed with my current Kayo deal. Feel dirty giving Rupert more than he deserves.

News Corp sold Kayo to Dazn last year who also acquired Foxtel 2 years ago.

I find changing providers is always a headache. E.g. phone, utilities etc.

In this case you're not changing a provider- your just adding a code to the same service (or a new service if you're connecting for the first time). Why pay $45.99 per month ($551.88 over 12 month) when you can pay $335 for the year which equals $27.92 per month and become a member in the process?

Incidentally if you have Foxtel & not on contract i recommend calling them up saying you want to disconnect-you will get through to the "saves team" and tell them its unaffordable- dont accept their first 2 offers-keep saying you want to disconnect- the third offer will be close to 50-60% off what you are now paying with no contract and for 24 mths.

Once its done DM me for my bank details to pay my 10% commision consulting fee

                    Lets go Roosters!! Im pumped!!!

3 of the lads above had problems so it's not as easy as you claim plus I'm loaded and haven't figured out a way to take it with me when I'm 6 foot under.

My missus is the bean counter and looks after these things however I'm pretty sure we're only paying $29 a month for Kayo.

May have been a glitch in the system at that time because it took me 5 minutes to sign up and got the welcome email link the day after. Its very straightforward

However yeah if you got money to burn then i guess it doesn't matter.....lucky you!

By the way you would be correct about paying $29 -thats the standard Kayo package of 1 streaming at a time and not in 4k. The 4k streaming im not fussed about but my boy is working in Port Hedland and i share the service with him- horses for courses
