On Ramsay, anyone know why he didn't get a run yesterday?

IMO Teddy has been our best player since Freddy retired. Any that is with all due respect to players like Mini, Cronk, Cords JWH etc.

He made 9 in 22 games.

If he got decent ball he could be a damaging ball runner. Got a powerful right foot step.

Unfortunately the game plan was get the ball to Red Hot Marky who couldn't put a foot wrong. Worked to some degree until the Sharks pumped us in the finals.

I'm pretty sure I spotted Toops and Billy have numerous nano naps throughout that game.

          Lazy coaching by Robbo imo.

I suspect he’ll get 40min next week with the 1sts squad.

If Teddy goes down (touch wood) with Ramsey @ 19th man and we're comfortably in front I would give Ramsey a run at fullback.

If it's a tight game I'd move Marky to fullback, Ramsey right wing.

Reasoning is that Marky's yardage would be solid and this has an overall positive effect your set structure. The fallout and flow on effect from a fullback that get's constantly rag dolled can be catastrophic.

Walker needs to throw him some early ball so he can use his power and footwork. Like Freddy did with Justin Hodges.

big call lol. he has won a million jack gibson medals. freddy would be the number one player if only because he took the team from not making semis to winning comps but teddy is number two. cronk's success rate was good but teddy's longevity puts him ahead. unfortunately forwards will always struggle to make top player lists

sse4e was being respectful to some very good players but it's more about whether it's just in his opinion that teddy's been the best since freddy. if think teddy's been clearly the best.
