I dont like thinking about this but it does come to my mind.
2 things.

1st thing, Who would play fullback if Teddy got a season ending injury, Would it be Nawaqanitawasa or would Cody Ramsey get the nod?

2nd thing, Could we still win the comp without Teddy?

One assumes that Mark Nawaqanitawase would be next in line and he would be training in that position during pre-season as he has a background of playing fullback although in Rugby Union - Another option is Cody Ramsay as too early for Rex Bassingthwaighte one would say.

Sure it would be a big loss but with a next player up attitude there is no reason they could still not be in the mix.

2. I think we may really struggle if Teddy goes down to fill this spot tbh! Would be the last player we would want going down followed by Whyte as our pack would be puss and walker for try assists

You'd have to go with Ramsey given that he's an experienced rugby league fullback and Nawaqanitawase is so deadly on the wing. Can we win without Tedesco? With the addition of DCE and Robson I think yes but obviously would much rather Tedesco healthy and fit throughout the season.

You'd assume Ramesy. Isn't that why the club brought him, as a cover for FB. I wouldn't want to move Marky after last year performance on the wing.

By the length of the straight and for almost every year he’s worn the RW&B. Unbelievable player. I worry about our fortunes when he’s gone.

Robbo was quoted previously talking about Marks versatility to play both centre and also as backup fullback if Ted goes down - this was leading into 25 season. Can only assume that would be the plan.

Agree with this.

I also don't think Marky is fast enough. He'd get skinned 1 on 1 by most outside backs in open space.

His yardage would be a pass mark imo.

no doubt we've got a plan if he goes down. personally i'd like to see marky get a go back there. of the alternatives, he's the only one who has the ability to split a game wide open.

to be fair, we've found it bloody hard to win a comp with him. it's tough to win. I'm optimistic for the season ahead but think top 4 is a good, ambitious but realistic goal. we need a lot of improvement and a shit ton t go right for us to win the comp
