New Away Kit Announced

The new Home jersey is modern take on a jersey that hasn’t changed in almost 80 years. The away jersey should always offer a fresh look that is changed every two years. In my opinion we should go harder on the away rather than reissuing old jerseys.

The switch of blue shorts for home and white for away creates a cleaner look and like all changes sometimes it takes time.

I think that after 5 years of garbage from Castore, Adidas have taken things up a notch and our merchandise revenue will skyrocket.

To may way of thinking, the jersey not changing much in 80 years is a good thing Tennessee, because I like the connection to the past. I prefer design simplicity in most things and certainly when it comes to the Roosters home jersey.

You make an interesting point about the away jersey and having a fresh look; still disagree for the same design reasons. Further, I want to easily and quickly recognise Easts as Easts when they play.

To save everyone else the time that Tennessee took, you won't convince me on this matter so please, let's agree to disagree. I merely offered a view that differs from the majority and that's fine with me as I have no need to comport with the prevailing consensus. Over and out. TLR

The 1 colour combo whether its all blue or all white will take time to grow on me. I so much like seeing our traditional blue home jumper with the white shorts.

Ah the old days of the guernsey/jersey with a collar and long sleeves. Will never return .. Not bothered if they change the away jumper and the current one looks fine - Be an uproar if they ever changed the traditional home jersey though as many clubs do.

I might be the only one. But I really like the new all navy kit for home games. As for away I don't mind the all white (only caz of the memories of 2002) but I much prefer a white jersey-navy shorts combo for away games. Not sold on the stripes down the side look either. I understand why adidas want them, but perhaps tricolour stripes would look better.

Just saw the promo of Whyte wearing the away kit and it looks awesome but something about the white away jersey on white shorts looks a bit out of sorts (for me). I hope the home jersey goes with the white pants and the white away jersey goes with the navy blue pants.

2026 Anzac jersey should be awesome but I really hope a red coloured alternate jersey (from 2016) is brought back into the line up.

Adidas making their mark with the three stripes. Personally, I like the blue and red stripes on the white shorts, but things could be worse.

I can see why Wests are pissed with the Tigers jersey, looks all Tigers to me, who calls them Wests Tigers? Especially with Wests stumpin' all the dough.
Just imagine if we merged with Souths and the predominant colour was Myrtle green. I would find that very disturbing.
