I can’t remember names but there were definitely posters who found him very annoying and would call for his banning lol. The chookpen was very different back then when I first joined.

Because some penners whinged about him starting multiple threads about his latest thoughts and insider goss. He had numerous names as he kept retuning after being banned with a new alias. So Bejurk, Turk, Krut and heaps more which I’ve forgotten.

Turk at least had a sense of humour - unlike the resident know it all troll; King Salvo, Michael Jones, Atlanta1, David Sutherland.

Why did it take you so long to join the Chookpen?
I joined the The Wall in 2009 after I got out of prison, I was patch.
Then when the The Wall closed down I joined the Chookpen under the name Mickey Lane but after about 4 years the Chookpen updated or something & I could no longer log in as Mickey Lane so I came back as Mickie Lane.
The Wall & the Chookpen have been the biggest laugh.
I always knew the Wall as up at the Cross where all the young guys who didnt want to do crime for drugs would engage in sexual acts to get money for drugs, I used to know a few of them & I used to feel sorry for them. Of course you would have known the Wall in the old days.
As bad as Kings Cross & the Wall was it was also mad, Sydney is not what it was without the the old Cross.

I remember many of the names being mentioned on here. I used to be here as Dolphin but cant access that name anymore so had to change it.....that was in the days well before the Dolphins were in the NRL! Only just recently been able to access the Chookpen so good to still see and read a few familiar words on here!!!
