Also Billy Gunn, raise up a rooster was an amazing initiative. Even though the community is always fighting each other it was good that everyone could put that aside for someone as well respected as BG.

Does anyone remember what Marty Kennedy's alias was on The Wall? He posted on twitter sometime in 2009 that he had to stop participating on the wall because he and the club were getting shit on every week lol

Everyone that was a paid member and active on the wall during the 2009 season is a real one except for new rooster man who swung the ban hammer too frequently. He sat middle seat in the back aisle of bay 13?

Also what's Mario F/supermario up to these days, wasn't he the one who had the "keep Australia beautiful put souths in the bin" banner? Never met him personally but spoke to him a lot on the forums and twitter back in the day.

And big shout out to Rooster6 he fought the good fight against the mob who hated Pearcey, we had a "why did the club let Soward go?" thread every week what an era. On field success is fun but the forums are so much more lively and entertaining when the team is shit, way too much Jack Bosden love though.

Red, Roosterfarian, MR, radcone, Vasco, Mickie are some of my favourite current posters but there's a lot more who are good contributors. Yak is a good contributor too but people are talking about him/her in the past tense I hope that's just because they haven't been active for a while?

AndrewJ was a solid dude I met him a few times at games. I reckon I've met a lot of you in person (especially at away games/back at the club) but obviously people aren't dropping their usernames in conversation

Luke Towers deserves a rate as a roosters forum hall of famer, he never posted (AFAIK) but boy was the wall convinced he was the saviour of the club.

I was a big Smithy fan too and remember the Oracle as well but I think Fred68 gave me more grief over Brian. Every single post of his was an anti-Brian spiel. Gee he had an axe to grind.

Which also reminds me of Pearce’s Worst Nightmare / The Thracian, a one topic specialist - pulverising poor Mitch every chance he got. I think he probably had another username too as he was banned a few times I think. He used to clash with R6 all the time over Pearce from memory.

Thanks Mighty One. Had a productive break thanks, moved camp (stress plus but worth it), Chrissy in beautiful Nelson Bay and then a week or so at the CM festival in my old patch. Got two fillies (horses ) trialling well and should be racing soon hopefully. Taking a lot of my attention. I probably wont be on here much anyway, not the place it used to be.

I got so much hate for backing Smithy and even Noycey. Johnny73 or his then incarnation pleaded for me not to have kiddies and got banned for said comment!

Yea the Nightmare and R6 were one of the classic matchups.

IMO R\6 understands & knows the game better than anyone else on here, I sometimes think he's Robbo.
Everyone that posts on here is good, Ive learnt heaps more about the game by reading all the different posts by posters on here & the Wall but R6 is a step above.

How could I forget the legend Jman Jimmy himself, Condobolin's finest iirc. The last time I spoke with him he was recovering from an illness (possibly a stroke?) I hope he's doing well these days I always enjoyed my interactions with him.

Ozzie is another name I had forgotten he came across as a kind soul but still very passionate. Reading the thread announcing his passing genuinely upset me, that must've been around 2012?

Thanks Mickie. It’s hard to believe I’ve been posting on here for nearly 15 years. I do love my roosters and have been following them and the game since 1978. I do like your contributions too. I love it when you have a different opinion to others. It’s good to have a range of views.
