Always on the cards as Angus was close to signing with the Western Force at the end of 2023 until the deal fell through.

Angus has ticked all the boxes in his league career so I don't begrudge him switching as he has been open about making the switch to Union previously.

Be his last shot of playing in a Rugby Union World Cup in 2027.

He got his contract renewal at the end of 2024 and shit the bed in a major way in the finals against the top teams that'll be my lasting memory of him.

Marky Mark might not down tools and pike it all year like Manu did but Crichton sure will.
I echo most the sentiment, but hopefully this will be an incentive to work his butt off to go out with another premeierhsip. One last hooray!

Love Gussy. Always one of my favourites. He's a beast. Sad to see his time with us is up.

Might add a bit more incentive to watch the World Cup with JS, Marky and Gus.

        Might!!!

I'm with you on this, no tears from me.
Hope Wong shows that he's the real deal, feel he's a bit overhyped at the moment, hope I'm wrong though.

You'd think that's what will happen.

I hope someone at Roosters HQ is monitoring our timing and when we'll be ripe to win a comp. Feels like we're all over the place when factoring in DCE max 2 years, goodbye Marky and Gus at the end of this season. Ditto Toops.

Teddy gone at the end of 2027 when Steep, Foketi, Wong, Toia, Whyte are peaking. All dressed up and no fullback. Welcome Rex and let's start again. Radley will be over the hill by then. Timing is key!

We'll have Latrell back by then so we'll be bags of wheat

It does feel like this may be the year to win the competition Before a few players go
critchon was solid but I think he lost some of his agility, pace and ball running ability compared to Souths
had a big year last year but been inconsistent so at 30 this year time for him to try something different

Tino will be 27 for the 2027 season. Not ancient, but not a spring chicken either. I'd of course be really happy if he joined, but I'd love the club to find a 22-24yr old instead. We could probably get two really good ones for what we'd have to pay Tino
Perfect age for Tino to come to us.

even without rads playing on the edge we've got good depth. sad to see angus go but i'm excited to see what wong and foketi can do. also egan butcher - he finished the season strongly. not sure what steep's best position is but he looks good.

He'll make a great captain one day.

I hope Australia crashes out hard in that stupid World Cup of that boring sport. I hope Su, Mark and Angus all rue their decisions to leave The Chooks.

Steep is signed til end 2028 already, Foketi for 27. Only Wong runs out at the end of 2026

                                Both are handy players.

Blore is on $450k and off contract at the end of this season. (source Zero Tackle) I reckon his next deal will be around $600k.

I'm not sure how much Lindsay Smith is on. He's also off contract end of 2026. Minimum $600k a year imo moving forward.

Question - Do you think the Broncos win last years comp with Lindsay Smith and Shawn Blore and no Payne Haas?
