About to go up again. Does anyone know anything about a Roosters digital membership I can't find? The alternative is a Cowboys, Storm or Eels membership for 345 for 12 months. Cows seem the least distasteful at the moment.

I believe that some of the AFL digital memberships such as GWS have been the cheapest options in the past but not sure if that's the case anymore but it's worth a look.

I just checked and the Cowboys come out slightly cheaper than GWS for the digital that might be the best look in because as you say the lesser of evils (I wouldn't ever buy a storm one) I personally don't mind the Cowboys although Parra (and Wests) are probably the only Sydney team I don't feel any negativity towards I don't think that anything has happened between our clubs in my life time for there to be a rivalry.

So what's the cost difference between the Roosters and the Cowboys DM?

If you sign up to Kayo in Feb and unsubscribe in Oct you're looking at $240 for the standard and $320 for the premium subscription. Noting all September/October games are free to air then you can knock off $30/40 also.

Share the cost with a mate, the $46 package gets you multiple streams, share the login details and the cost. We let our elderly neighbours use our login just to be good neighbours.

Before committing to a 12 month deal, I suggest you go through the cancellation process and they will kiss your butt with a cheap deal.

Doesn't look like the Roosters have jumped on board with Kayo

Be good if club members can receive a discount for such subscriptions

                  From February 5 2026

Kayo premium will rise to $ 45.99 per month
Kayo Standard will rise to $ 29.99 per month

Talks of a record up to 5 billion broadcast deal will mean annual subscription increases one assumes.

Kayo standard is actually being reduced, from $30 to $29.99

You ever had any issues with kayo? I’m still keen to jump from Fox after seeing glitches and green screens at a friends place a couple times, he said it doesn’t happen often and is better than it was earlier on.

Never had an issue with NRL or australian sports, sometimes we get slight buffering for PGA Tour golf from the US when viewed via Chromecast. Watching on a laptop or PC though, no issues ever, and it's a great service for $1.50 a day.

I'm happy to pay the $30 a month. I also watch a lot of domestic cricket so it works for me.

A few years ago I was paying over $100 a month for Foxtel and I didn't watch 90% of the channels.

                              Thanks Sherlock.

They do it so that AI related search results related to Kayo can use the words "reduced", "reduction" etc
