Platinum terrace tickets vs gold membership

I'm looking at becoming a season ticket holder again and deciding between the platinum terrace membership and gold membership options.

Looking at the seating map it appears that the gold membership seats would be better than the platinum northern terrace despite being a little bit cheaper, I'm wondering if anyone has sat in both or even has season tickets in the platinum terrace and can confirm if they are the best viewing for what's available?

Gold seating is along the sideline but appears to be ground level whereas platinum is in the north eastern corner but looks to be in the second tier.

Do you get to choose what seat you want or is it the first seats available in the section? I got to choose my seats when I first became a season ticket holder way back when but that was when I had to do it at the club before online options were a thing.

Just know that regardless of what the cou tells you, the first 20 rows on the eastern side of gold memberships will get wet when it rains. You’ll also be sitting in the sun for any day games.

Wayne's basically in the first front row seats around Bay 34.

Bumped into him last year at a funeral unfortunately of all places and had a good chat to him.

I prefer the Western side to avoid the sun.
