Roosters Marketing - How low can they go?

I can't see any 'fine print' in the Membership purchase section of the Roosters website.
Maybe you see it at the end before or after you actually pay for the membership.

Mate, I hear you, you sound deeply affected by telemarketers, you should change your number like you say, disconnect the fax, no real big deal, is it? Really??

Phone/fax number is the same.
The business has held the same number for over 40 years and would mean a HUGE effort notifying everyone concerned.
And yes, I am deeply affected by it to the point of just hanging up on these people without a word uttered.
They seem to think it is their right to intrude on my life & ME be absolutely fine with it.

I'm going to take the Seinfeld approach next time. Ask the operator for their private home number and tell them you'll call them back at home..

I have a cousin that received a call from a stats collector asking him if he would mind spending 15-20 mins answering some general questions. No problem he said....how much will you pay me? Reply: Um, we don't pay for this.....Cousin:Oh, so do you get paid for collecting this info? Reply: Yes.
Cousin: Ok then. When you think my time is worth paying for you call me back. Oh, by the way my hourly rate is currently $250 U.S.
