Wouldn’t see why. They will belt the daylight out of the Warriors. The Sharks can be dangerous at times.

I tend to agree with this However I’d prefer we stayed in Sydney to play next week to avoid travel

Either way the Panthers won’t win the comp this year imo.

Storm will be without NAS - Suspended for 3 game’s.
Paps - Concussion mandatory 11 day spell
            Hughes - Broken wrist.

Grant will play after his 2 game suspension. They’ve been rudderless without him.

The last thing Penrith wants is to win there and lose Cleary or Edwards.

Personally I'd rather play the worriers based on current form and squad.

Thought of this too, I’d like to take the path of least resistance, which would be the warriors, but Cleary showed a couple weeks ago that hosting a home final wasn’t his major concern when he rested the whole team and pretty much accepted finishing 7th or 8th.

The other thing the panthers can consider is who they would prefer to play in week 2 if they win or lose, playing warriors, they go to the dogs/storm side of the draw, playing sharks, you go to the raiders/broncos side.

maybe it's a hassle going across the tasman but the panthers have named a very strong team and they'll want to play well. they're on a 3 game losing streak which isn't an indication of how they're travelling but my bet is that they'd like to take some momentum going into the semis and play well and win

I think we'd both prefer a lazy ride to Cronulla to take on the wobbygongs.

It wouldn't surprise me at all.
1985: 1 try vs Parramatta, 1 try vs Manly, 1 try vs Wests, 2 tries vs Souffs
1986: 2 tries vs Illawarra, 1 try vs Balmain, 2 tries vs Norths.
