The funniest play of the night was when Leota wouldn't let go of Townsend's leg so Townsend just walked away from the play the ball and Todd Smith just let the game proceed.... like there just was flat out no play the ball but because the alternative of giving us a penalty seemed too hard for him tonight he just let the game play on.

Well spotted, I saw that and thought the same thing.Originally posted by Rooster_6 View PostThe funniest play of the night was when Leota wouldn't let go of Townsend's leg so Townsend just walked away from the play the ball and Todd Smith just let the game proceed.... like there just was flat out no play the ball but because the alternative of giving us a penalty seemed too hard for him tonight he just let the game play on.
The other one was the penalty for the strip "after the held call" despite Laurie trying to offload it before Mark picked it up and would've ran the length.

I'm in no way diminishing the fantastic effort of the Chooks, but that refereeing display was absolutely horrendous.
God, I just pray for the day that someone at the club speaks up about the blatant criminal bias they face every single goddamned week!!!!

1985: 1 try vs Parramatta, 1 try vs Manly, 1 try vs Wests, 2 tries vs Souffs
1986: 2 tries vs Illawarra, 1 try vs Balmain, 2 tries vs Norths.

That was it for me! If they lost the game because of that absolutely atrocious call, I'd be in the garage polishing my bb gun.Originally posted by HunchoRooster View Post

Was that on the last tackle when we were on the attack Dochar Clay almost scored next play ? The funniest thing I saw last night was our first try in the second half Every single player of theirs were two metres offside yet we still scoredOriginally posted by Rooster_6 View PostThe funniest play of the night was when Leota wouldn't let go of Townsend's leg so Townsend just walked away from the play the ball and Todd Smith just let the game proceed.... like there just was flat out no play the ball but because the alternative of giving us a penalty seemed too hard for him tonight he just let the game play on.I respect all our moderators here. I might still be on a high and therefore hallucinating, but I'm positive one of our blokes got clobbered as he crossed the line, but of course the wanker with the whistle didn't see anything.

If we talking about the same moment, when ZDC dashed for try line… it was mind boggling.Originally posted by Rooster_6 View PostThe funniest play of the night was when Leota wouldn't let go of Townsend's leg so Townsend just walked away from the play the ball and Todd Smith just let the game proceed.... like there just was flat out no play the ball but because the alternative of giving us a penalty seemed too hard for him tonight he just let the game play on.
