I divested myself of my emotional attachment to the Roosters' fortunes when it nearly destroyed my relationship because I got stupidly and irrationally angry over what is essentially nonsense.

I'm a lot calmer now since having kids but I've been supporting the team for 35 years now and my hubby knows to leave me well alone after a bad loss as it still gets to me badly.

When the chooks play my day starts like this:
1 make sure i wear my same Roosters boxers.( getting a bit small now had them since 2001)
2. Set all radio channels on the 1 station in the car

Theres a few more but you all might think I'm a bit weird so i try anything to get them over the line, its funny when we win everthing in the world is good but when we loose even having a date with bingle would give me the shits (but would get over it pretty quick) but i keep telling myself dont worry " its only a game???"

Dunno just did it once and it worked so i kept doing it????....but a bit like few of you i have kids now as well so i have calmed down a bit, my 8 year son likes to stir me up when the chooks are loosing the bugger!!!!
