An absolutely miserable day weather wise coupled with playing an out of town team in the middle of a long weekend isn't ideal for a bumper crowd. If it is any consolation there was barely a soul coming into my bottle shop in the east all afternoon/ evening save for a few roosters tragics needing a drink after watching the game.

I was there in spirit. Wish I did have some spirits with me...and I don't even drink! I'll be home in 2 weeks for the Chic members' game for the Women In League round against Manly and the club is allowing us to bring our friends along this time so hopefully we'll get a bigger crowd. Manly fans don't travel though. They are too insular on the peninsular..
