It's insane that he got off with less than if he just got caught with a mobile phone....obviously someone high up is a Bronco fan
If he gets anything less than a 12 week suspension from the NRL it really sets a ridiculous standard.
The guy needs to be booed to Matt Lodge levels everytime he touches the ball

This is worse & he was allowed to play footy again at the Roosters.Originally posted by 007 View Post
Absolutely. I've said it before, and I'll say it again. I don't think Ezra should play Rugby League ever again - in any country. And I still think he should do jail time.
Former rugby league prop Zane Tetevano will spend at least nine months behind bars for a series of attacks on a former girlfriend.
Tetevano, 24, pleaded guilty last year to eight charges, including destroying property, common assault and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
At a hearing at Newcastle Local Court on Thursday, magistrate Ian Cheetham sentenced the former front-rower to 18 months in jail with a minimum non-parole period of nine months for the attacks, which began in 2013.
Tetevano had his contract torn up by the Manly Sea Eagles in December following his guilty pleas and hasn't played in the NRL since.
He was earlier let go by the Newcastle Knights after pleading guilty to smashing a taxi windscreen.

i'm not so sure they will Mickie - the media, police and judge have effectively played it down enough that the NRL might be tempted to let sleeping dogs lie. yes they will suspend him but i'll be surprised with the way it's gone so far if it's even as much as Spencer's. i think the Nrl will clue the broncs up on if you don't give him X weeks we will so you better give him X.Originally posted by Mickie Lane View PostI know Ezra is hated on here but its not his fault what result he got.
Some people are very lucky with the results they get from court.
Mark my words the NRL will put him out for double the time Spencer got.
to be honest i couldn't really give a toss what he gets - rather not waste the energy on it.

Well, if he wasn"t , he will be now.Originally posted by Bates View PostNo doubt that the Judge is a lifetime member of the Broncos Pty Ltd.
How does society improve if we allow people to get away with this sort of rubbish? I am talking about Ezra, the police and the Judge. A six month suspension when he has no licence is insulting to both human and primate intelligence.

Not sure how they could noting the outcome of his case before the courts - 6 month licence suspension and a $850 fine - No conviction recordedOriginally posted by Mickie Lane View PostI know Ezra is hated on here but its not his fault what result he got.

A 4 game ban seems to be the consensus for any NRL imposed suspension
Be interesting to see if the Qld Attorney General appeals this noting the comments from the QLD Deputy Premier

It's only worse because precious 'monkey boy' should have been charged with a truckload of offences. Those lenient charges he received are beyond belief.Originally posted by Mickie Lane View Post

No, he (Ezra) didn't assault anyone but what (physical and psychological) damage has he done to the three victims? Seat belt burns and a fractured hip to a 4-year-old girl. Where was the charge of grievous bodily harm? The law could have thrown the book at this pretentious wanker but there's obviously something going on in the background; brown paper bags?
The uber driver's car is a write off. Has he been compensated and has someone else paid for his counselling?
Not holding my breath for the NRL to do the right thing.
