Sandon Smith is a massive liability in defence. Some of those missed tackles on Edwards was alarming, he is a massive worry. Yes he’s young and learning, but he maybe dropped after that. Terrible.

Unfortunately from when Toops dropped that sitter it went down hill from there in the first half - hardly any ball and making only 28 metres each set - errors galore - tackle count up - 24-0 - sure the game was gone but they had a dig in second half.
Have to do it the hard way - regroup for the next game vs winner of Dogs and Sea Eagles

Sandon had an absolute shocker. But you have to give him the benefit of the doubt. First finals game against a rampaging Penrif team. I’m hoping he can brush it and turn in a better performance next week.Exonerate the West Memphis Three - www.wm3.org

His defence was poor tonight but that can be fixed.
I thought he was a little rushed in his playmaking tonight, I really would’ve like Keary to let him call some more shots because when he was playing first receiver I really liked some of his pass selection and his ball playing into the line.
It’s a really tough spot for the kid to be thrown into. I wouldn’t be casting judgement too quickly.

Sandon’s halves partner was equally poor. The difference is Sandon’s just making his way into first grade, the other bloke should have learned something over all of his years in the top grade. I’ve said it all year; we can’t win the comp with Keary in the team.

I agree. The dropped ball started the tsunami. No team would have stopped Penrith after that.Originally posted by King Salvo View PostUnfortunately from when Toops dropped that sitter it went down hill from there in the first half - hardly any ball and making only 28 metres each set - errors galore - tackle count up - 24-0 - sure the game was gone but they had a dig in second half.

Both Keary and Sandon are rather small. And slow. And not much between the ears.Originally posted by Steggles View PostSandon’s halves partner was equally poor.
