What about the one where Ennis caught Mini up in the Defensive line and Kicked through,[ they kicked through on a number of occasions because Minmi wasn't back], it was regatherd and lead to a try. He was up in the D line for up to 3 tackles at times, if he keeps it up other teams will exploit it. Good fullbacks save tries by being there to hold up tries, Mini most times is nowhere near the ball when teams are attacking our line.

Sorry, who was fullback... Mini or Perrett? How was the try before half time Perrett's fault?Originally posted by BarnstormingBlockbustin' View PostThere wasn't much mini could do about most of their try's. Pez was caught out all night by a player that's been in 2nd grade.
More like Wake up Perret

I did say most try's. Are you talking about the try when peni slid for the ball and 'apparently' tore his hamstring? That was def not minis fault.Originally posted by Juggler View PostSorry, who was fullback... Mini or Perrett? How was the try before half time Perrett's fault? Is that the full story,
or is your news limited?

And if we had driven them back in the first tackle of the game they would have dropped out.Originally posted by BUDDY View PostIf he didn't let the previous one in we wouldn't have kicked off.
Or if we had tackled like the demons of hell, the Dogs would never have been in a position to put up a bomb.
FFS let's bring a bit of sanity & logic back into this. Oh wait. This is the Chookpen.

It sure is the chookpen and plenty can't see sarcasm if it smacks them in the face.Originally posted by Juggler View PostAnd if we had driven them back in the first tackle of the game they would have dropped out.

Mini can get lazy with his positional play - and i'm including the early to mid 2000s. Last night, he CHOSE to stay in the defensive line for up to three tackles. He showed little urgency to get back until Ennis kicked for the try before half time.Originally posted by BarnstormingBlockbustin' View PostI did say most try's. To blame Perrett alone for all the other tries is unfair. Some blame certainly, especially the first. But he was not wholly to blame. If people wish to blame him entirely they can, however, they show little understanding of what is required in defence on the wing.

it's hard to say if he CHOSE to stay up. It looked more like a tact by smith to try limit the bankstown mutts forward packs quick passing up the middle.
To blame Minichello alone for all the other tries is unfair. Some blame certainly, especially the first. But he was not wholly to blame. If people wish to blame him entirely they can, however, they show little understanding of what is required in defending from the back.
