Enjoy the last two games of the season because with a defensive line like we have we are getting nowhere near the top 8 sides.

Personally not gonna read much into that performance. When necessary we put the points on against a rabble of a team that were worked up for their season finale (farewelling Burgess...etc) and got penalised for nothing.
Robbo avoided a shyte show / brawl which was the most important thing IMO.
The Riff still have to play the Titans and they're still gonna wanna win to maintain that home final. With Cleary and Edwards injured, I dare say they'll be in a similar position where they weigh up how hard they wanna go against the Titans.

i watched a different game. apart from a couple of errors with the inside defender being lazy and walker being good we defended really well while the game was competitive.
sandon killed it. that alone is enough to give cause for optimism.
teddy's in great form and is capable of pulling out motm performances when it counts.
suaalii was put to the test and had only one bad kick at goal
suia wong really looked the goods.
we started the game with a lot of errors but recovered well in the second half.

I feel like before his injury he was looking very good, or am I misremembering? I remember thinking, prior to his injury against (against the Dragons?) "Man, Manu looks in a mood today".Originally posted by BTRD View Post
Seriously, when was Manu's last outstanding game. He is so off.
He hasn't been great since coming back though, but I feel like he normally turns it up during the finals.
We won't be starting as favourites against the Panthers, but we're every chance of beating them. We had an absolute stack of players out tonight, pulled a few more off at different stages during the game (like Keary) had Pauga injured, and virtually nothing to play for with an eye on next week. It will be a completely different line-up next week, and they'll be competitive.

One thing the Panthers don’t have is that they haven’t had the luxury to be able to rest players, they have had quite a few injuries and squad chopping and changing and probably because of the first two points I’ve made their last few weeks they haven’t looked as oil slick as previous years as well.Originally posted by BraveTheWorld View Post

I feel confident that if we can steel up defence wise and not try and score off every play it will be a close game, and maybe we can cause an upset.EASTS TO WIN!
