  • Inu Second Try

The score was 14-12, Bulldogs in front. Bulldogs looked dominant and looked like scoring or earning another repeat set. Lafai is tackled on tackle 4, but as he gets up and plays the ball, he puts the ball down, lifts his hand off the ball and puts it back on a second later, then plays the ball and Inu darts over in the corner and scores. Anasta was too busy arguing about it, he had a point, but the WRONG time to argue Anasta. Still, it should have been a knock-on, Roosters feed 10 out from their own line. Even though this try may not have had an effect on the score at the end, Bulldogs gained momentum from it and piled on more tries.
Other than that I thought the referees were okay today.

What was with the ref saying "If I had seen him knock it on, I would have blown a penalty against your bloke for infringing" ??

It was an inexcusable oversight considering there's a referee specifically there to watch the ruck. Still a stupid mistake from braith.

            What about the second try?

Wasn't Pritchard in front of Keating? I know Inu caught it but I thought only the kicker can put him onside.

It was a line call, i thought he was in front but the commentators of FS thought he was 'okay'

No it should have been a penalty to the dogs, I am pretty sure there was a leg pull that caused him to take his hand pff the ball (I could be wrong) either way it was NOT a try.

referees werent great. a few shotty calls none better than the penalty for ennis diving in the 1st half which olympis judges scored a 9.8, 9.5 and a 10. either way the team beat themselves today.

But didn't they not see anything? I cannot comprehend how he can retort with that given he'd told Anasta they didn't see it. Selective vision it seems, regardless though the refs were not that bad I thought and we were just plain awful. It is really hard to watch.
