On a serious note, we have a great team. We just need leadership - that is the one key issue. A young team like ours needs someone to look up to on the field and they dont have that now. Our captain is not motivating the troops, hell..he barely looks at them or speaks to them on the pitch...watch closely. Anasta needs to be stripped of his captaincy tonight and it needs to be given to Hargreaves - post haste! Before this year turns into 2009

I agree totally. The quicker JWH becomes captain the better of we will be. Give him some responsibility an he'll grab it with both hands an the others will follow. Anasta is a passenger an offers nothing to the team. I've always been a fan of Anasta because he's one that always wants the win always gives 100% but lately the fire has gone an he's just a passenger waiting on his next stop west tigers. Smith needs to put in some structure into the team I haven't seen any structured back line move with decoy runners giving a supposedly boom centers some one on one chances with there opposite number. Our forwards haven't let us down it's our lack of creativity in the backs which I think stems from Braith Anasta that's killing us!

We are weak in the backs at the moment, and that is due in part to poor service but really something is wrong with team morale at the moment. You can see it written all over their faces..

Without getting into the poly debate, I agree that Bosden and Arona probably would have done a better job than some of our forwards out there tonight. Some look unfit and lazy. It's a shame that Bosden isn't given a go. I think he deserves a shot considering some of the performances of late.

Our backline isnt that bad, just receive bad service. Ball movement too slow. Most teams can get it to the wing with a overlap atleast once a game. Anasta does get it there quick shame wright isnt in a roosters jersey. Every team lacks a few superstar backs in there team but are coached to use the few skills they have. We were in front an last 4 games but didnt leave the pressure on. Repeat sets on the line and the backs will find holes when dominating.

Some calm effective 5th tackle options would make a massive difference to this side. It should be coming from Anasta but isn't. Hopefully that's where Maloney comes in. Pearce has improved massively in that area but he lapsed tonight as well and was rubbish with the 5th tackle options. Our forwards came up with lots of great sets but it doesn't mean much when the kick is rubbish every time.
I think we have the solution we just have to wait til next year.
