I think he didn't do well because his kicking game was poor!
In 2010 he got nearly every single conversion and was a great kicker.
He could kick like JT
Now he's lost his touch but still a great player.
If Carney were to go which he shouldn't Soward should come in!
Your all sooking about Carney - he can get u there but he cant finish it just cant handle the pressure . Maloney wouldve been a better SOO 5/5th than him and he will better serve us when he arrives.
We just have to ride out this season and look forward to next and watch Cronulla fold out of the semis.
Fark Carney and he will get hammered tonight and that will be the end of the crumble
Same could and should be said about his partner in crime, but of course wont be.

His partner in crime had a go and ran the play that couldve won it for us only for Uate to kick for him self and not too the unmarked blokes who were screaming for the kick unmarked.
Pearce was running around looking for Carney all night .
Partner also made some great hits and tackles but partner also gave away an intercept which stuffed us at the time.
Partner faired better than Cronk
Face it NSW had 7 backs from 7 clubs
Next time put a bottle of scotch on Queenslands try line and watch Carney run.
Now wheres that picture you had up on facebook it was a beauty
Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the universe
Two great bomb defusals and a dummy half dart that turned the second half.
Uate's defence was woeful.
Bansai i was always dirty on carney in 2010 . What was a great season for him he was missing in action through out the semis and GF and that told he wasnt a big game player that wins you comps. Thats why I didnt give a shit when he got booted but I would be the first to admit he was a by far better option than Anasta.
I really belive we have signed in a good man in Maloney and I hope he gets picked even on the bench next SOO
The other sore point with me is Tamou how good was he and he shouldve been ours and how dumb was Ricky to take him off so early and take so long to put him back on .If NSW keep him and Williams on longer next game we will win.

If Jennings doesn't throw that ridiculous punch, or Gallen doesn't opt for that penalty goal attempt, the blues win and this thread wouldn't exist.
What about when Carney doesn't find touch ? Or drops it on the 4th? Or the penalty for the bird tackle ?
There were a heap of turning points during the game.
The ruling on Jennings was ridiculous. He deserved to get charged after the game. Queensland had the 3rd, 4th,5th and 6th man as well as starting the fight. Another case of the ref not ruling on the game as an Origin.
Those refs can barely officiate the NRL, then they go on to ruin the spectacle.

There's no denying he had an ordinary GF.
But, like Qld last night, St.George's defence was pretty rock solid.
I don't know how you beat Qld when they're goal line defence is great and they can seemingly score whenever they need to.
When we went well last night is when Tamou and Williams were on they have had the basic backline for years while we have seven blokes that havnt played together - apparently Stuart concentrated on this problem all week and drilled them non stop but Carney I Guess was the breaking point last night.
Wasnt Carney on GF night it was throughout the whole semis as well.
You know club officials and coaches desperately look for players who can deliver in big games there is not that many out there
