Dreadful. Absolutely painful to watch. And this was potentially the best team they’ve fielded this season

Thought they would win for sure, so yeah disappointing in the end.

First half they're defence was amazing having no territory or possession. Brought on by the usual errors so only themselves to blame.

Was a decent game until around 20 to go and the guys packed it in. BMoz would be ropable.

Sitili didnt exactly state a case for first 17. Hit him a lot in attack but was heavily marked, couple of soft errors. Jenko did bugger all. Sandon tried hard but it wasn't working. Fekitoa only a little tacker but liked his energy and input. Ethan King looks NRL player of the future. Missed Pauga who didn't play.

Jets (Sharks) were very good. Really put us under pressure and we caved eventually.

I think Jennings needs to hang it up. Had the fairytale 300th, probably time to ride off into the sunset. Presumably they pulled Junior because he’s playing the next four weeks with Suaallii suspended

Continuity is such an undervalued variable in team sports.

It's by far the most talented 17 we've put together in NSW Cup since we rebooted our own reserve grade side but there was absolutely no chemistry between them.

          Where did we get beaten?

I'd be expecting Wong, Sitili, Clay, Va'a x 2 and Steep to be strong in the forwards.

Has been a major factor for the NRL side the last couple of years. Chopping and changing every week makes it obscenely dificult to be fluid, regardless of "next man up" attitude.

Jennings was just average in the end with us.....and he was horrible at Parra. I cannot believe he has made our team no matter how many injuries we've had. He was that poor against the Cows surely he will never see firsts again

It comes down to our ' astute ' coach......which means anything is possible ha ha.

It seems like these rubbish performances are to be found in every grade.
1985: 1 try vs Parramatta, 1 try vs Manly, 1 try vs Wests, 2 tries vs Souffs
1986: 2 tries vs Illawarra, 1 try vs Balmain, 2 tries vs Norths.

I expected our reserve grade to be really strong.

                      Flegg have been disappointing also.

IMO hard to understand the coaches strategy & or tactics... newtown spine took control of the game & put the foot on our throat... we had nrl level players spread across the park, not playing nrl level... maybe the coaches plan was let them run the show?... rotations were hard to understand?... theres a real obsession (Bmoz being a back maybe) to play shape early, & out the back, more times than i can count (weekly video sessions on our team done by the opposition must be so predictable to read).... instead of getting into the arm wrestle & knocking down the front door, which seems to be plan C... add our error rate most likely from fatigue defending repeat sets, far more than our opponents... gives you results like yesterday.

we have 2 top quality locks... 1 playing prop, who has shown at nrl level he can play edge row well too (struggled yesterday) & 1 playing edge second row, SGBall player of the year (was hardly seen)... our current lock (captain) is listed as a hooker in the nrl 30 squad... a smallish body, not in the Radley style of lock at all, who touches the ball as much as our half (who's in the nrl 17 & future partner for Walker)... & we have big bodies (3 props) who are often used for repeat defensive sets & decoy running... given limited minutes to get into the grind, to accomodate more game time for the lock playing prop, i assume a directive from robbo to get him ready for nrl to cover forward bench positions... so what is said/done during the training week i believe is thrown out the window come actual game time... go figure.

Every supporter over rates their reserve graders. Our supporters are no different.
