Yeah IMO they have enough to work with. Surely they'd need to seek an exemption to select Teddy and the answer from the NRL would be 'you have multiple options there... maaaaate... you're the supercoach who dropped Teddy and now you've gotta live with that decision'.

My understanding is if he is called in, the Roosters will have to find a replacement for fullback? I may have that wrong but if not, yet another disruption to the detriment to the Roosters. SOO needs a serious overhaul. Too many teams disadvantaged, overrated game, a dead rubber (possibly) means exactly that - yes it does happen regularly.

$30,000 should mean nothing to someone on a million-dollar salary. You've been great (and still are) Teddy but give yourself a break from this origin crap - you've been there and done that. We will need you at your peak come finals time if we're good enough to be there.

Lots of champion Roosters players leaving at years end so we may be in a rebuilding phase so maybe a last shot at a premiership for a while. Then again, depth is good and one or two astute signings, and I don't see us falling too far away.
