Not a bad game, I think he's more of a supporting sort of 5/8th and with Pearce back I reckon he could be really effective his confidence seemed to grow as the game went on..... What ever you think of him he couldn't be worse than our current one.

I agree, i really like having morts in the team. He is defiantly not a half back as he cant organise however he is always supporting, popping up everywhere and i think with pearce at half and mortimer at 5/8 we are a much stronger team. He should of scored two good tries today. For the good of the team smith needs to bite the bullet and drop anasta. Let him fake an injury if he is too proud to play reserve grade.

I think Smith has planned this for a long time. Anasta will be "injured" when Pearce returns from Game III of Origin.
Smith has never chopped and changed his teams from week to week. He is very methodical
