maybe they're resting him. if i remember correctly, last time we played manly we rested a couple of players because their NYC team is pathetic.

you would hope that RTS had a little niggle to miss out today, makes no sense to rest him today when we have a bye in 2 weeks, with Moga/Evans/Cordner now progressing past NYC level, RTS is the only player we have with any x-factor the rest except for Napa are just average toilers.

I Spoke to RTS he had confirmed that he has been rested due to a few little cramps hes been picking up.

its a shame they won't promote some of the SG Ball squad, some of the NYC squad are never going to be NRL standard and we should be putting effort into the next generation, I can't believe Taripo keeps getting picked he is absolute rubbish, even his goalkicking today almost cost us.

U/20s has to work under a $200k salary cap.Any club can only afford the dollars to keep a few probable future first graders.This is why there is quite a bit of player movements at this grade each year.
Each team still needs to fill the numbers with players that will probably not make it.
Our goal now in the juniors is to find the next generation of probables to come through in the couple of positions we will need to strengthen in first grade in 2 -3 years time.
It will be interesting to see what positions POS does go recruiting for next year...
