Agreed, both ordinary. As soon as I saw that turd lyons was a ref, I was worried and then when I saw the other ref I thought the team would have to do this the hard way and sure enough. The penalty was against cordner for not binding properly if you can believe it.

Now, let me try to be objective about this and see if the Roosters got the benefit of the refs at any stage of the game. I can think of one - Leilua's try. I can't think of any others. The refs squared Leilua's try with johnson's try where johnson took the ball off SKD from a bomb.

Killed it, still doesn't change my opinion that he had proven nothing up until today. His potential is blindingly obvious I never doubted that.
