  • Brooklyn Heath

    from Danny Weidler...

Brooklyn Heath may one day be a significant part of the famous Roosters-Rabbitohs rivalry. The rising rugby and league star has just signed a three-year deal with the Roosters. Why is that significant? His uncle is Souths hero John Sutton, the most capped Rabbit (336 matches). Brooklyn is an outside back and one to watch.

Saw that in Weidler’s column this morning. He also had some things to say about Cronk’s position in the coaching ranks moving forward. Apparently Robbo still backs him out of loyalty but other prominent Roosters’ figures don’t.

Not surprised to read the last part regarding Robinson..

I’m thankful we have Uncle Nick above him!

The word Scuttlebutt is not used nearly enough on this forum.

Who is prominent after Nick and Robbo? The board of directors at Easts Leagues never- and i mean never- leak information to reporters.

If its true that Cronk spends just 1 training session a week helping the halves then its a storm in a teacup

I used the wrong word. The actual quote is ‘there have been rumblings that he (Cronk) is on the outer with some key Bondi figures. Take it as fact, he is’ .
I’m just reporting what Weidler wrote. Not saying I believe it. He also brought up the Walker family not being happy with the way Sammy Walker has been coached by Cronk, too much structure etc etc…you get the gist. Also there are allegedly feelings of ‘ill will’ towards Cronk because he also works for the Storm, the enemy.

I think he's just a bit but hurt after Robbo called him out for being a rubbish journalist.

You're better than buying into the Weidler waffle..

Nick Politis the guy who gave Cronk a life time membership, one of the most loyal men in league is not feeding info to Weidler that he's no longer a fan of Cronk.

He doesn't do business that way.

Yes I agree with all that R6..

Hence why I’m thankful we have Nick at the top,as more often than not the right decisions will be made to ensure the Club is a success!

Cronk was never a Rooster, he was/is a professional. Hired to do a job which he duly did - twice. But he would have little emotional attachment.

Hey watch it boy, your in ABR territory here - Anyone But Robbo. I think he's done it again. He's looked at the draw months back, seen that these last teams would be looking vulnerable and here we go from here from here on in, if not to the finals then in a flash of glory.
