There's a rumour on the Panfas forum at LU that says he wants out of the 'riff and its out of the Roosters and Sharks for his services. Would be perfect ... extremely fast and talented fullback. I have doubts our club is that smart though.

    Thoughts ?

Turns 30 next year, would be a risk if it's big money. Thought we might be beyond this type of purchase.

No. As Rooster 6 said he's 30 next year and is EXTREMELY injury prone. Whoever gets him is going to be paying BIG$$$$$. IMO we either offer Mini 1 more year or throw RTS or Alofa into FG next year.

I had no idea he was that old ... lol i thought he was young, oh well that ends that speculation. Mind you its interesting how we are ALWAYS linked to these big names but never actually buy any of them. One day you might think they might eventually catch on.

I agree, he spends more time on the sideline.

We were interested about six months ago but he wants a ridiculous amount of money - about $400K!

            That was before his injury.

              No.
Don't we have a youth policy? No new signings over the age of 27 ????

Up until this year the Roosters have always bought big name players. 4 or 5 ex Bulldogs come to mind.

I think you will find they will be announcing a big name signing during this year. Another ex Bulldog.

No I'd stick with the count if he wants 1 more year, he's done nothing wrong this year had a cracking game on wed. Gordons only handy for supercoach points & very injury prone.

                    I'd rather Coote.

The clubs that are buying the big names Parra & The GC are running last. The team that develops 90% of it's players is undefeated.

yea i had absolutely no idea he was that old either lol. Seems to me as though he only started really playing a few years ago, a later bloomer perhaps...

if he was a few years younger id snap him up in a heartbeat

I wouldn't say no myself. RTS isn't ready for first grade and I think Gordon could fill that role for two or three years while RTS comes along nicely. Whenever Gordon is injured, bring in RTS to get some first grade experience. I'd only get him at the right price though.
