Obviously Hutch in for Turpin boggles the mind. Turpin has been consistent and does well to spell Smith who still hasn't put 50 straight mins of good footy together. Hutchison is terrible at dummy half so here's hoping Smith has suddenly grown a 3rd lung or is being allowed to play with an oxygen tank.

Like seeing Wong get a crack but like another user posted, how can he go from being dropped to all of a sudden being picked to play the 80min role. Radley on an edge was probably better option. Anyways, go Easts. Not confident. Haven't been since about Round 8.

I don’t mind the Hutchinson pick, he covers more positions than Turpin who only got 8 mins last week

I am starting to think there is no thinking lately by Robbo, its the only explanation for this shocking team selections that have been going on all year by him. Maybe he throws darts at a dart board to select the team that way.

Probably just after loose cannon Radley gets sinbinned for another stupid act. He is due one.

Maybe Turpin has been playing too well to keep his spot. You need to drop balls, miss tackles, give away penalties, get sin-binned to keep getting selected by Robbo nowadays.

Only reason I can see Hutch in for Turpin is that maybe he thinks since Brandon Smith can last most of the game, and Turpin is only a hooker, Hutch would be better on the bench in case of injury, as he can cover more positions. No slight on Turpin - aside from his passing (which is still better than Smith’s) he is a pretty decent hooker.

Good to see Robbo’s strategy has worked this year , sad to say most clubs have worked out Robbo’s strategy , thats why we are 14th.

You mention what does it achieve- Nothing . So why do it ?

Finally , don’t think this approach has helped us this year , as this approach has not helped us prepare properly . Hope you agree we are having a poor season

Turpin must be filthy he will miss his token 4mins of game time, even though BSmith has been gassed since the 20th minute....

haha, no doubt we've had an awful season this year but it's a long bow to put that down to the team named on tuesday being different from the one that runs out on game day

Turpin must be hurt nobody would pick hutch over him if he is fit.

Got to agree with you Zac . Maybe this is just another small piece of the puzzle we cannot solve this season.

I see Turpin is not named in res sides however hutch was named at 7 for res grade!
hopefully this comes off and hutch and Turpin swap

disappointing not to see walker or Watson in res yet, could some in later on the week! Momo as well they seem to delay injuries
wonder if they now know we can’t make it so are going to let them fully recover

Used to be a time if you played bad you got dropped and if you played well you were promoted. What an outdated concept.
