I thought they had a dig tonight, but we need to play smarter. Less penalties and more possession would help. I’m looking forward to seeing Robbo get us out of this mess.

Agreed. Remove the errors and we’d be singing his praises. Ran hard and got through gaps.Originally posted by Rooster_6 View PostI’m going to say something controversial that will fire some people up.
I thought Radley looked good at 2nd row and I genuinely think if he continues to play well there for the rest of the season we should consider him there as a permanent 2nd rower. I know there were 2 dumb short side plays and the play the ball error but outside of that he was poking his head through the line, made some good offloads, gave good space and ball to Suaalii and helped out in yardage with some good carries.
EASTS TO WIN!

Wow you have really come up with some absurd posts but this one is on another levelOriginally posted by Les Tricolores View Post
He’s not the greatest Roosters coach… where on Earth did you get that idea? Jack Gibson would be rolling in his grave
Even Gus and Ricky had a similar win percentage… and the Roosters have been stacked these last 10 years
Stop deifying the fool… he easily could have lost 2 GFs… and pretty much deserved to lose one if we’re being honest… people would have a different opinion of him had that been the case

Yep if Makybe Diva hadn't hit the front on those occasions she wouldn't have won three Melbourne Cups either.Originally posted by Les Tricolores View Post

Agreed, I still have plenty of time for Victor and despite some errors, he put in last night.Originally posted by Rooster_6 View PostI’m going to say something controversial that will fire some people up.

BTW, I missed the incident he was put on report for. What happened there? I'm guessing its something that most other players would not be put on report for.

The only thing that dissapoints me is the inability of chooks scoring tries .Unless Keary busts the line we have sweet FA .The errors and basic mistakes are mind boggling .Same shit every week...compete then fail .No resolve .Opposition scores then the usual suspects lose their cool..zRads JWH been the main offenders conceding penalties.
I watched up to 10 minutes left and the commentators mentioned we only had the ball 5 times..wasn't worth watching anymore..missed our two tries and a case of who cares.Thes blokes are playing well below their pay grade. Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the universe

Maybe our High Performance dept...(do we still have one?) could hold catching sessions at training...how to catch high and low kicks, and all types of passes.Originally posted by FlamingRooster View Post
Tend to agree. I think he runs his lines very well and shores up the edge defence. Just needs to learn to catch the ball
Our team gets A+ for effort. We can ask no more of the players who took the field in this game.
Getting them to the skill level
required is up to the coaching staff and recruiting depts.
Had Suaalii been on the wing marking Coates he could've competed for that kick from a better position.
SCG sure isn't new Allianz Stadium for viewing of NRL games.
FIFA should be playing at Henson Pk.

I'm not going to rubbish Drew, he does his best,Originally posted by Carlos Parra View PostThe positive for me was that I don't ever recall seeing Drew Aubusson on the field.
but the lack of a quality 14 and the coach's over expectation of Drew's ability has been a major factor in this seasons results.

I'm a Vic fan and think we definitely need him out there to be our best regardless of playing 13 or 12. He is a smart ball player when confident and in the zone, which I think is his attacking strength. Brown however is adding something and like him in the squad too.Originally posted by Sentimentinel View Post
Not controversial at all, I said last week he looked way more vintage on the edge as it simplifies his role which he needs atm.
I think Brown is doing well enough at lock. Not sure how long he'll be around though.
The short side plays that didnt work are symptomatic of us running the play off the runsheet rather than playing smart and whats in front of us. Vic likely overcalled those plays but Storm always had the numbers. A new 9 iand a rookie 7 don't have that feel from the ruck yet to engineer those right plays at the right time. Unfortunately. Hard to fast track that.

Lol… you come onto a public forum licking boots and talking out yer arse… and when someone points this out you think they’re trolling you? meanwhile the losses keep mounting up for the preseason premiership favouriteOriginally posted by FlamingRooster View Post
Piss off troll. If you have nothing positive to say go to your posts that you and all the other pessimists have been pandering for the last months.
Greatest Roosters coach ever? lol… he’s the worst coach in rugby league these days… anyone with a modicum of sense can see thatLast edited by Les Tricolores; 07-16-2023, 12:40 PM.
