DRAGONS FANS SLAMMED

SOUTH SYDNEY boss Shane Richardson is fuming about the treatment dished out to his little halfback Chris Sandow on Sunday night by Dragons fans. After the match Sandow was the target of Dragons fans who let fly at the the No.7. They accused him of taking a dive during the game, and made other offensive remarks. Sandow needed four security guards to leave the ground. ''I spoke to our football manager Mark Ellison about what happened, and it's just not acceptable,'' Richardson said. ''Chris is a professional footballer, and he is out there doing his best for our team. To be the subject of that kind of abuse at the level where he need helped to leave the ground can't go on in the future.''
