The pool was nice although spent half and hour picking out leaves. Feeding the friends cats also and usually the cats are very aloof but the older one was very affectionate and was like a shadow following me around the house, think it also appreciated the lounge room door being opened where it was getting a nice breeze through. It was nice bonding with this cat.

It certainly was a cracker I sat ina pub watching it all unfold Cracking day today I’m on the beach getting some afternoon summer sun as I type thisOriginally posted by horrie hastings View PostBest thunderstorm Sydney has had in years, even with the shutters pulled the room is lighting up like a Christmas tree every time there is a lightning flash.I respect all our moderators here. Pretty hot here but then it always gets hot around Australia Day and then through the whole of February. It’s amazing how quickly the landscape starts going brown and dry once the heat of Summer starts, despite all the rain we had throughout Winter and Spring. I swear we only have two seasons in Canberra these days - winter and summer.

Lovely area Horrie. If you were at little Wobby, straight across the river at the entrance to Cowan Creek is Refuge Bay. I’m sure you know it. I used to love dropping anchor there and climbing up the rocks to the waterfall and standing under it. Very refreshing!Originally posted by horrie hastings View PostYesterday afternoon sitting at Wobby shores looking back to towards Brooklyn and west up the Hawkesbury valley watching one of the most amazing electrical storms enveloping Sydney and surrounds was amazing, then the rain on the roof when it got closer, just such a priceless experience.FVCK CANCER

Out going tide yesterday afternoon/ evening with the storm had all these big jelly fish being washed down from the upper reaches.Originally posted by rented tracksuit View Post
