Now that the international borders are open again, time to get off the sofa people, put on some shoes and pack a bag! Some of us may also need a haircut..
Also in honour of Rented Tracksuit going to the US & Canada, here is a good place for everyone to post any travel adventures, past or future. I know many of you are world travellers, so feel free to share.
Canada is on my list for when I retire at age 70 . (no, it's not this year for those of you who think I really am that old..) as it's easy to get around, civil, polite and clean.
Looking at going back to London in October 2023 ( I like to stick around in case we win more premierships) and up to the north where I've never been.
Tasmania is also somewhere I've been wanting to go for a long time so maybe Easter 2023.

I spent several years living in a granny flat paying the landlady cash in hand, so she could avoid tax. I was eventually given a home loan after the bank I previously worked for rejected me on the grounds of being single and not having enough deposit. My house is now worth nine times the amount I paid for it. It just goes to show how ridiculous the housing market is these days! And as I said in that other thread, I have no idea how my kids are supposed to afford a house in todays’s market. I have had discussions with the eldest about this topic on many occasions.
