the way trump acted after the election was a disgrace. every president who's lost a close election thinks he's been robbed but they didn't go bs-ing about stolen elections without evidence that will stand up in court.

i don't think he actually 'directed' the mob to storm the capitol so maybe he doesn't get convicted at his trial but any president who isn't able to accept defeat and 'provokes' people to storm the capital (by bs-ing about a stolen election) should never be elected again (even though he'll be republican nominee next time if he wants it).

No need to thank me MR. You never should have been put in that position in the first place where you had to dig so deep to explain yourself. And neither did I to be honest in the Covid thread but sometimes we get pushed a little too far. So closed minded and stubborn to something or someone a little different and not willing to evolve or view the world with a little kindness and empathy. Too bloody scared of anyone not fitting their rigid views of what is 'normal' and 'acceptable'. As my friend Andy says, they are to be pitied and he's right. Sounds like they don't have decent people to love them and share their lives with so they lash out at others.

A mishmash of different experiences since I came back on here Mickie. Not one particular person per se.

Not you of course. I always remember how our mothers grew up so close to each other. My Mum would have been 97 on Monday 8 Feb. Tomorrow Ricko will be 47 and Freddy will be 48. Funny how they both captained the Roosters and played Origin and Tests and are both really really really good looking and have the same birthday.
