Ended up doing a full day shift because we were a staff member down.The part timer who didn't turn up said he read the roster last Saturday and he was not rostered on to work this Tuesday and the boss who's day it was off reckons the roster has been then same out on the board for the last two weeks.I'm actually inclined to believe my part timer because i have seen the boss change the roster a few times,two weeks ago he did a complete stuff up and had only one person working from 10am till 8pm on one of the days till i pointed this out to him.Any way between working another 4hrs extra today and having to work an extra 3hrs on Christmas eve i am now owed 7hrs so i will be taking a day off soon that will suit me when i want it,if the boss bucks about it i will just pay myself 7 hrs overtime this week.
After a promising start it looks like my new boss is slipping into old liquorland habits,i know i could run the place better with my eyes closed.

tennis at the moment.
Men's tennis is so god damn boring, what do these gibberrers want, a chauffeur or do they need their bloody GPSs on the court to show them where the net is, because they never venture near it.

I have to say that Men's tennis is a beautiful thing compared to woman's tennis though because this shits me to tears, not only is the play as boring as crap but the mechanical drones they trot out and tell us are statuesque beauties are nothing more than filthy grunting pigs.

caught a bit of the tennis the other day, not the Hopman Cup but the other one on Ch7 ..... one of the chicks was a grunting clone of Sharipova. Her grunts sounded identical to Maria's, another reason not to watch the Aust open in a couple of weeks !

a lot of adults get turned off tennis nowadays..because, as I will concede, with the exception of maria sharapova, ana ivanovic (and andy roddick) and the like..the game isnt as glamorous (i was referring to their looks as glamour..sharapova is one of the messiest players out there)

there is hardly any net play, even on grass...in fact sometimes in doubles matches, teams play 2 back or 1 forward 1 back when 2 at net is far more aggressive..

they just swing wildly at the ball and hope for winner or error...but its great
