RIP to the old fellow. embodied the aussie ideal of the fair go. played league for Parra for a while.

If it wasn't for his green bans back in the 70s Sydney would be a vastly different place, so much history was saved, The Rocks, Victoria St and Kelly's Bush at Hunters Hill for starters, also did so much for Gay rights back then too.
Such a great man.
