        • There is a movie based on How to Make Gravy but I think I will cry all the way through it so will save it for another year. This one played this morning whilst I was reading Horrie's post. This is Paul Kelly with Christmas Must Be Tonight.

Then I was reading an interview online with David Campbell for the Australian Womens Weekly and he said this year he will be listening to Johnny Mathis with We Need a Little Christmas and then it came up on my shuffle..I've just kept everything on a low volume today to match our mood and when I was working at home past couple of weeks, I would just put on classical Christmas music on YouTube.

              • First Chrissy without Dixie (my Mum) this year. Christmas was always special to her, and I wanted to play this song at her funeral. I know its not about a person, but its a great song. The line "Merry Christmas from Dixie, to everyone tonight" struck a chord.

Very nice. Christmas was always big for my parents too. I miss them so much this time of year. Dad loved this song one by Bing Crosby. I used to always rib him about White Christmas having nothing to do with us in Aus, but he would just say, but it’s such a great song!

                      • This Chris Rea song reminds me of when I worked at Gowings and we used to go drinking at Centrepoint Tavern. They had a video jukebox there and this was one of the regular clips played
