Sorry Horrie. I’ve never even heard of 2WS or Smooth as I live in Canberra. I have absolutely no idea what music they play. I was really just commenting on A Country Members comment. This thread shouldn’t be about judging what music people listen to as music is subjective. I was reacting to his comment but being late at night I was tired and my response was very short and not explained properly. I don’t really listen to the radio at all these days as I don’t drive and just tend to plug in my iPhone / iPad or Spotify. All good MR, WS plays a lot of the later 70 s and 80 s music plus a bit more modern, same with Smooth. Our car is so old it only has a radio and CD player in it, the car is still going well and will probably have a few more years in it yet, i have been thinking of replacing the sound system seeing now that its only the radio that's work, the CD player doesn't work anymore, Hence why i listen to the radio when we drive.Originally posted by mightyrooster View PostComment

The CD player went in our previous car too. We then bought a new one in 2016 and it has the USB connection for iPod. The only Sydney stations I know are 2GB and 2UE and that’s only because I read about them in the news as they have the talk back radio heads on them. And I’ve also heard of NOVA? If the other half puts the radio on at home while he’s WFH he puts on 2CA which is music from 70s / 80s and some 90s. Yep i have started looking at some system to replace the one in our car, if the car was going to replaced in the next 6 months i wouldn't bother but i think we are going to have the car for a couple more years yet, i have seen some you can get that still have the CD player but also has the USB connection for IPOD besides blu tooth capability. I know when we get the new car i am going to have fun trying to work out the new sound system as i'm really technology challenged when it comes to things like thatOriginally posted by mightyrooster View Post
