Oh no!! Sorry. When did you do that one? I must now spend 5 minutes in the naughty corner.
. Haven't heard the Split Enz version of Body and Soul for years that you posted, i had forgotten about even though i knew the Finn brothers wrote it.

I really don't know how I missed that. I was in a bit of a rush yesterday though so I'll stick with that lame excuse. Yes Tim wrote the song and it's on their Frenzy album.Originally posted by horrie hastings View Post

Got so used to hearing the Starstruck version of the song by Jo Kennedy that I had forgotten about the Enz version.

This is a great song by Son Volt, and the audio is crisp on this recording. Was covered extensively by Kevin Bennett and the Flood, especially on their trips to the Tamworth festival. Brilliant lyrics that aren't super literal, but still wonder exactly what this song is really about.

Stop trying to score brownie points Jaxx You are coming across as needy and desperate. RWB has made it very clear she has no romantic interest in you or anyone else on this site for that matterOriginally posted by Jacks Fur Coat View PostGreat theme idea RWB, something for everyone.I respect all our moderators here. Jo Kennedy’s version is the first one I actually heard. My sister and I loved Starstruck when it was released and we bought the soundtrack on tape. I was in love with the Enz at the time but at that stage hadn’t gone back to look into their back catalogue prior to True Colours and I Got You, which was the song and album which got me hooked on them as a 13 year old.Originally posted by horrie hastings View Post
