    I never said we were perfect - you generally find trolls are not treated very nicely and sirgamble IMO was just another.

    If you post a serious position on footy you will find most times you will get a serious answer

      Mate if you have a good look at the start of that Wok thread you will see I was just replying with my opinion on the topic at hand. At first I thought we were just having a debate, I was polite and tried to answer its questions honestly, the way I see things. Sirpindick just acted like a dildo and tried its hardest to ridicule my opinion. All I did was hand it the rope, it was quite funny to watch it hang itself.

      Since weve lost more games the troll activitys increased dramatically. Last season I dont recall ONE popping in to have its say.

      Ive never been one to sit back and cop shit. I make no excuses for my childish behaviour at times, I give back what I get, but I give it ten fold. I know it annoys some, so be it. Im too old to change and I find it too damn amusing to resist to be honest.

      Anyone that comes and wants to talk footy, not rubbish others opinions and promote their own invalid lives, I have time for. And thats irrespective of the club they support. I have friends from The Old Wall days, from other clubs, who im in constant contact with.

          Indeed.

          below is my "he'll do OK for the following reasons" post about Finch at Storm.

          his personality hasn't changed (quite a wanker) but at last a coach has found the best use for his inconsistent skills and made his talents useful.

          From April 15:

          * there on a sink or swim basis, on little/no pay.
          * 1, 7 and 9 strong leaders who'll take no crap.
          * a captain that rules the roost.
          * a coach that demands obediance and observance of team before individual.
          * a senior player roster that all took pay cuts to stay in the team
          * most players have stable girlfriends or wives/children - very few party boys
          * a team that stays out of the news for off-field discreations when travelling
          * a role for an on-field talker on the right side to feed Inglis and Co in the backline.
          * a forward pack that need no motivating nor gee ups nor leadership
          * a forward pack that can run straight on predetermined lines.

          this is a team that the best qualities of Finch might really shine. All the appalling qualities of this young man will likely be nullified else he'll be outta there.

          * he ain't the saviour,
          * he ain't required in a 'rebuilding phase'
          * he is not an automatic senior player
          * he is not replacing a legend (Fittler) or trouble making genius (Smith)
          * he is not the apple of an unstable coach's eye
          * he is not required to bear (or gravitate towards or create) the burden of 'fixing' anything.
          * he is not required to trade intensity/attitude for skill - he'll need both in equal measure to keep up with this tight, well drilled, happy team.

          He is simply slotting into a gap - they need a distributing 5/8 who can take some kick pressure off Cronk and send Inglis back to centres where he can be silent but deadly.

          If he does that job well, they'll be happy. If he doesn't then he'll be UK bound in a heartbeat.

          I reckon we'll see a very different Brett Finch at Storm.

            True,true..

            The Storm may be tight enough to keep "The Code" in check..

            & he does fit what they need to perfection..

            I was always taught that a leopard never changes his spots though,so i still think there are MANY classic Da Funchy moments left in him..

            I will laugh my guts out if/when he starts putting kicks out on the full in the semi's for them..

            Bellamy is gunna luuurve that part of his game

              Melbourne are very intelligent. They recruited Finch as he was exactly the player they needed, to fill a void in the team! I love how Melbourne play as a team. Each player knows his role, and does what they are told to do. They stick to the game plan very well
