had one of my cats into vets over weekend......she's 15 yrs old & started having kidney problems.....poor little thing was so bad on Sat arvo......visited her Sun morning & she was nearly back to fiesty self after the night on a drip.......picked her up this morning & she was meowing & purring again. Now she is on special diet.........found a place in Qld who I can buy bulk from & they'll send across.......rather than buying from the vet.

wa, sorry to hear one of the attack cats is unwell!its usually the kidneys that go on much loved cats, so ensure the diet is bland etcc, no more rich meat cuts or loads of milk? you know what yoiur doing!

Thats no good WA,i remember the fortnightly trips to the vet with Smudge to get her fluid injections when her kidneys were going.It was funny though she had an overactive thyroid which kept the kidneys in check somewhat so she motored along for a quite a while with a little help from the vet.Hope it all goes along smoothly.
