Yes I understand that male drivers arent that great, and statistics prove it.

But I have my doubts about this.

Why everytime I look in my revision mirror there's some smart arse bitch with 'P' plates stuck up my arse with a ****en attitude ? It extends further than that. Even the old ****en moles have attitude too....

As a woman, I am a bloody shocking driver. I cannot judge distances for the life of me.

And don't ask me to do a reverse park or any other fandangled maneouvre. If I can't drive in front on, I'm looking for another spot. It's best for everyone that way.

But because I freely admit that I have these driving issues I take it into account when I get in the car to drive. I'm a cautious driver who leaves more than enough room in front, just in case.

And whilst I occasionally cause scrapes to my own vehicle, usually by getting too close to kerbs, walls (whatever) I've only ever been at fault for slight damage to one other vehicle in over 20 years of driving, and that was in a bleeding carpark - by misjudging my distance of course!

There's no in between for me - I'm either right up against the kerb or 5 metres away from it.

Did I mention it took me about 6 attempts to get my license.

I have noticed especially lately that a lot of the young male P plate drivers have no idea of even the most basic road rules.

Bad drivers come from all across the spectrum,young,old,male,female and unfortunately it seems to get worse every day on Sydney roads.

Five years ago I spent 12 months as a licence examiner. They get the "P" and all previous training and technique is thrown out the door.

Imagine going for your licence and Uncle Holmsey walks out with a clip board to greet you

Apart from the occasional lead foot,........ I believe I am a pretty safe driver.....

Its one thing my father, a truck driver, instilled in me, and I think I can mix it with the best of them....and I do very often put close to 1000 kms a week.....

I have long wanted to race speedway.....but my back problem has killed that forever........

I can not honestly pick one gender as the worst, because it seems there are really bad, and really good in both sexes........

The ONE peeve I have is that I would estimate 90% of road users have NO IDEA how to use a roundabout correctly.....it is very frustrating......including my father-in-law, who thinks it means, put your foot down and just go for it.............and the stupid "foriener" who slammed her brakes on in the middle of negotiating one, to "change lanes, because thats what I always do"........arrggggghhhhhhhhh.....

Heres a classic that I saw yesterday up at Randwick village shopping centre car park.
I come down the ramp and this young woman in is the lane next to me at the boom gate.
She decides to reverse.ok
I pick up the ion-laws and leave the car park 5-10mins later.
She is still trying to reverse away from the boom gate.

Next she is driving up the entry lane to exit the car park. :0

Next she then tries to turn right into Avoca St !!! there is a medium strip there that she aint going to be able to get over.

A right idiot and I bet her other car was a Camry too, if you get my drift.
(PS they are good cars but some of the drivers ...

Females are very good drivers . I remember my GF smashed into the back of a car that was stoped at the light cause she was to scared to press the breaks.

I dont think you understood my post. nothing to do with the cars i was refering to the drivers. Very safe but how much road rage and how many accidents do they leave in their wake.
