Tops feeds in Sydney

This place is interesting, recently opened in Alexandria on O'Riordan st, had a couple of nice lunches there but they now have a buffet breakfast on Saturdays which is nice. Grandmas Little Bakery.http://www.grandmasbakery.com.au/

I went there today top notch mate loved it, awesome healthy buffet for only $20 VERY NICE, the missus asked how I found it I told her off a thread on an Easts site she had a good laugh. Have u seen that ribs place around the corner from it? mmmm

What time were you were there mate? i was there this morning a bit after 10am i think, i had a red, white and blue t shirt on.Loved the baba ganoush and the cou cous salad they had there today and ended up buying some of the pistachio biscuits, yum, have not seen the ribs place close by but went to Establishment 218 afterwards to buy some meat.Glad you liked Grandmas

Its called james barnes check it out awesome fine dinning local place http://www.4143.com.au/ they dont do the ribs every day though.

Ummm I was there after 11ish I was the grub covered in paint and crap the missus has threatend to burn the camo shorts that I was wearing. I sort of remb a very tall skinny dude in a red and white stripped top.

LOL yeah sounds about right, I love the grub factor on weekends after a suit and tie all week its nice to be dirty. I just got 50 bags of sheep manure for the garden then I started on the pizza oven and got hungry and remembered ur tip. The missus gets a little cut but I am a local so I figure I earnt the right to dress down lol

I did notice no snags or meat on offer grrrrrr but its a good place I stocked up well

I even posted earlier in this thread that it had closed and it was re opening in Crown St and it looked liked the seafood one had re opened back again, it was closed for about 3 months on the Oxford St site and was only after the original opened in Crown st that the seafood opened its door again, the blog said it was a rent dispute, i think it seems more like a family dispute

GO to Kylie Kwongs OMFG had an amazing meal last night... we had alot of food 4ppl $270 but over $100 of that was wine... The duck was just to die for and the chiken livers WILL sing in your mouth, eggs in xo sauce need I say more yes yes

Now you also need to be made aware of some high quality pyss Frogmore creek sauvignon blanc from tasi fckn AMAZING

Have always wanted to go to Billie Kwongs, i remember going past a few years ago and it was my birthday and we were looking at the menu and a women came out and said they had some seats available for the early sitting but i didn't want eat at 6pm, wishing i did now, have been told by a few people who go there the food is always better when Kylie is working there, not as good if shes not there.They have a stall every Saturday at Eveleigh markets and often Kylie works there, would love to try the dumplings but the lines are always so long.

There was a restaurant in Marrickville many years ago called Mrs Top, it was great food and Friday and Saturdays you would almost have to book a year in advance to get a seat, it closed because of the husbands health but then re opened for awhile in Mosman, the owners then sold the business and moved down to Milton where they opened a B&B and the restaurant trades on Friday and Saturdays, last time i was there it was only $49 for three courses and a dinner bed and breakfast package was $260 a couple, not sure whether it has gone up but it is always a very nice port of call if you are down on the south coast, heading down there myself on Saturday, cant wait but will hopefully be calling into Greenwall Point on the Friday to get a nice feed of oysters.
